About this Activity
Departing Marrakech at 7 a.m., our journey takes us through the Atlas Mountains, pausing occasionally for photos amidst breathtaking landscapes. Our visit includes the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a 16th-century fortress famous for its roles in acclaimed films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Kingdom of Heaven. Lunch break is free time. Our route progresses to Ouarzazate, then to the Valley of Roses, and finally, the Dadès Valley. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay nestled in the gorges of Dadès.
After breakfast, our itinerary leads us to Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorges. We then journey through the Ziz Valley towards Erfoud. Continuing our route, we arrive at Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Upon arrival at the inn, refreshing mint tea welcomes us before a camel ride transports us to our night accommodation in tents, offering stunning dune views and a fascinating sunset. A delightful dinner awaits, followed by the opportunity to enjoy traditional Berber music under the starlit moon.
Have breakfast and return from the camel camp to the Riad. You’ll be taken on a 4×4 vehicle tour on the golden sand for an unforgettable experience and visit to Nomades Dar Gnawa. Note: Lunch is not included during the 4×4 tour. If you wish to have lunch at a Riad or elsewhere, please let us know, or if you’d like to taste the famous Berber pizza called Madfouna, you’re welcome.
